If you’ve been following my page and blog for a while now, you would know that I’m someone who’s always looking for great products at a great price. That being said, it’s no wonder that when I shop, I always filter the items by price point and then always, always, always look at the reviews.

I’d like to think of the day when I can actually online shop without having to put “price low to high” on the “sort” tag but I honestly don’t think I will. More sulit products I choose, more products I can add to cart! LOL!

How to find quality products at a good price

As I’ve mentioned, when I search something on an online shop, I always try to sort the products by price and then by rating. The great thing about this method is that you find some of the cheapest ones that have the best rating. Like it or not, there will be some scammers in an online platform. In order to filter them out, check items that have a high number of reviews and of course, a high rating. It would also help that you find products that have reviews with photos on them. Make sure that reviews are legitimate and not just song lyrics (because some people really do this LOL).

I’m currently in the process of fixing up my own room and here are some of the products I recently purchased in Shopee. I’ll review each item and mention how I found them. I’ll also include a link of these products so you guys can find them for yourselves!

3M Button Battery Copper Wire String Lights

I’ve always been a fan of copper wire string lights. In fact, my previous room had string lights lined along the four corners of the wall. When I found this string light, I immediately looked at the reviews and of course, chose the product that was longest. You can always decorate how you place these lights so the longer they are, the better.

The next thing I checked was whether they were battery-operated or not. I personally prefer the ones that are battery-operated because the USB ones would require electricity, just like the outlet ones. I won’t be using them as the main lights of the room so it wouldn’t make much sense to have them plugged in like 24/7. The battery-operated ones are perfect for when you just a bit of mood lighting or something.

I got mine for Php 50.00 for 3M and I got a total of 6 string lights: 2 white, 2 pink, and 2 warm-toned ones. Because these products ship from outside of the Philippines, I think it’d be best to sort of buy at least two of a variant just in case something doesn’t work or I love them too much and want more than one.

Multifunctional Strongly Sticky Double-Sided Adhesive

I’m someone who decorates with a lot of stickies and DIY stuff. One thing I always seem to need is tape! I found this on Shopee on the same shop as the other items I got and saw the reviews. I decided to get some because you’ll never know when you need some tape. This cost me around Php 80 and is 1.5M.

Dirty Clothes Hamper

One thing that a bedroom should always have is a good hamper. I’m someone who loves the coral shade and I somehow always find myself incorporating it in all of my purchases. I found this laundry hamper that had a coral background and a cute polar bear pattern that just caught my eye.

Best thing about it? It costs only Php 105! I went ahead and got myself two variants: the white hamper with flamingos and the coral one.

Canvas Storage Boxes

I want my room to be less cluttered and well-decorated. That said, it’s important that I have some storage that would store all my clutter. I have a ton of wires, toiletries, and accessories that need a place of their own. When I found these Canvas Storage boxes that matched the prints of the hamper I added to my cart, it was a no-brainer. I had to get these, too!

I ordered three of the pink bear variants and it only costs Php 52 each!

1 Pc Plain Curtain

My new room only has two windows: one big one near the door and a really tiny one on the other side of the room. Because my new job entails sleeping in the morning, I’d be needing blackout curtains. When I looked up “black out curtains” on shopee, I found this.

It was assorted and the perfect size for my window. It also only costs like Php 195! Of course, I’m only new to this curtain-buying thing so if that’s too expensive, please let me know. I’d love some tips!

Artificial Vanilla Spike

One of the trends I’ve found myself loving is the whole “dried flowers” decor that’s been having rounds around social media. As someone who has constant allergic rhinitis, I can be quite sensitive to certain scents. I think dried flowers are so beautiful but its scents are often too floral for me, if that makes any sense.

So, I found these artificial vanilla spikes on shopee and only cost like Php 56 for 6 pieces already. I think they’re just cute and add a little color to a desk or a space.

Household Cloud Rack

Since I’m moving downstairs, I’ll also be moving to a new bathroom. I found these holders that are just perfect for hanging towels and other toiletries. Best of all, they only cost a mere Php 135! Aside from this, the rack comes in 4 beautiful colors!

Leaf Shape Soap Box

As I’ve mentioned, some of the items I bought are for the bathroom. I found this cute leaf-shape soap box that is perfect for not leaving water in the soap box and melting the soap. Ewww. I bought two in the colors of pink and blue. Best thing about it is it’s only Php 38 each!

Iron-Wrought Wire Basket

One of the things I’m most excited about in this haul are the rose gold iron-wrought wire baskets I purchased. They’re so cute and you can place them anywhere in the room for decor and storage! As someone who packs a lot of clutter and accessories, storage is 100% important.

OOOOOKAY. That was a lot.

Well, maybe not. Well, it’s about a week and a half after I ordered them and I have received three of the orders I placed. (I ordered like 5 batches from diff shops lol). Here are some photos I have of the iron-wrought baskets that I have grown to absolutely love:
