CRAVING FOR GOOD COFFEE & GREAT CONVERSATIONS?

I remember when I first started going out to cafes. The coffee scene in Davao wasn’t as big as it is now and the best and coziest cafes always had that air of intimacy and privacy.

The idea, I think, came from the concept of having coffee nooks where people can enjoy great cups of coffee over conversations with friends.

Enter, BeansTalk Café.

BeansTalk, from the name itself, builds exactly on the concept of coffee & conversations. The cafe is located in the bustling heart of the metro but it certainly doesn’t let you feel it. The ambiance of the decor is industrial and laid back. The ambiance welcomes you with the knowledge that:

A. You can definitely work/study/focus here without getting hungry, awkward, or uncomfortable.

B. You and your friends can definitey catch up over their many drinks.

C. If you’re in a group and want to have an exclusive space, you can rent out their mezzanine and enjoy their menu.

Plus, their food is great, too!

We had a chance to try their menu and here’s what I recommend:

– Their pasta dishes, but their Truffle & Bacon Fettuccine is

– Salted Egg Bibingka

– Truffle Pesto Fries

– Spanish Latte

– Cookies & Cream Frappe

I also like that they serve all day breakfasts. Their Hungarian was yummy, too!
