Breads, Pastries, and Coffee in the South

If you’re in the south and interested to try great pastries, breads, and meals, check out Club’s Bakery at Cordillera St. in NHA Bangkal.

They’re a quaint little bakery just by the bridge and they offer a variety of breads and pastries. I went there with my parents one afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by their menu. For a small bakery, their Reuben sandwich, French toast, and pastries were sooooooo good.

I really enjoyed my meal there that mum and I decided we try their breads, too. We got Rye Sourdough, Ciabatta, a Brioche Loaf, Garlic Bread, Eclairs, Beignets, Lemon Bar, Chocolate Marble, and their cookies. The breads are perfect for early morning toasts, afternoon sandwiches, or even midnight grilled cheeses.

I wasn’t able to try their croissants, though! It’s fine, may next time pa naman. Looks like we have our own Sourdough and Ciabatta source right here sa south na hehe. Yay!

I also want to note how affordable and reasonable their prices are. The bread and overall food quality was great and yet their prices were so sulit. Pero fair warning, because of the prices, we were budol-ed so much!

Here’s their menu:

I liked their food so much I made my own Reuben Sandwich at home:

Ciabatta, Swiss and Cheddar Cheese, Corned Beef. Yum.
