Making memorable memories with one’s Mom, dusitD2 Davao ensures a decadent display of dishes this Mother’s Day, matched with a month-long ode to moms through Tanya Gaisano-Lee’s art exhibit. 

While everyday should be special for the queen of the household, Mother’s Day allows everyone to exert the extra mile to let her know how much she is loved. Everyone has their own “world’s best mom,” and we are commemorating this occasion with dining indulgences and art appreciation for the dearest moms out there. 

From May 8-31, self-taught artist Tanya Gaisano-Lee will have her pen art pieces displayed at the Dusit Gourmet Lounge of dusitD2 Davao and Dusit Thani Residence Davao. Tanya began her artistic journey in 2014 with a black pen, and has eventually developed into acrylics and inks which has become integral parts of her art expression. For this solo exhibit, she pays tribute to the significant role mothers play in the family and the society. 

Madayaw Café, on the other hand, matches the passion of the art exhibit with their culinary prowess. Offering a lunch and dinner buffet spreads on the 8^th of May, Moms are up for some delighting surprise coming from the likes of Namm Spa and other partners. The buffet spreads, both at Php 1400 net per person, are rich with flavors and signature dishes. 

With the sought after Roasted Beef Chuck Roll and Roasted Lamb Leg at the live carving station, a wide array of salads, cold cuts, main dishes, and highlighted Mother’s Day inspired desserts, the buffet spread will surely not disappoint. The dessert station will showcase the pastry team’s specialty cakes for the occasion, and shall also include Croquembouche and French Macaron Towers. These buffets come with raffle prizes, a discount treat from Namm Spa, and a live entertainment over dinner.

For month-long treats, Dusit Gourmet has a delectable selection of desserts and pastries for the occasion. This includes the Mother’s Day Cake, and special Mom’s Day cupcakes that may serve as precious take-out gifts. Prices vary depending on the items purchased.
