Hello, hello, readers!  

It’s been a while since I’ve posted something a little personal so here I am typing out my 2019 favorites. It’s something I’ve wanted to do but it seemed kind of off to begin a monthly favorites post in the middle of the year. So here’s one of my resolutions for 2019: consistently post a monthly favorites blog and maybe vlog. 

I intend to keep it!!!

So I’ll break it down to beauty products, tech products/ apps, and lifestyle products. 

So since it is a favorite post, I’ll only be writing about products I’ve consistently used and loved from the beginning of the year to the things I’ve discovered along the way. 

BEAUTY PRODUCTS:

1. Simple Micellar Water– I absolutely love this skincare brand!  I love their Micellar water because it’s light and it removes even the thickest and most stubborn make-up (I’m looking at you, Vice Cosmetics & Colourpop.) It’s something I use before putting on make-up and before I wash my face. It gently removes all the product from my skin and lets my skin breathe and honestly, I haven’t found any product that does it that fast. I also love how little you have to put in a cotton ball for it to work. I’m only on my first bottle this year and it hasn’t even been halved or quartered yet.
2. Nyx’s Lid Lingerie– 2018 is the year I experimented with eyeshadow and make-up. The Lid Lingerie was my first palette, I bought it in 2017 but only used it in 2018. I love the terracotta and nude shades and have been using it until November this year. 
3. Colourpop’s Sol palette- Ugh, my weakness is a terracotta-coral color palette. It just looks so goooood and cute. It’s a summer palette but I only received it this November and found it as my new favorite. Don’t get me wrong—— Bretman’s Lit palette is amazing and I absolutely love the shades periodt & macchiatto but SOL is just so pretty!

5. Nyx’s Lip Lingerie in the shade Cabaret Show- I love nude shades and Cabaret Show brings that perfect mix of mauve and nude. It always makes my skin look healthier and glowing, if that makes sense. 
6. Sunnies Face Fluffmatte in Nudist-  I swear I discovered so much love for nude shades this year. Pinks and reds somehow make me look older kasi. Anyway, NUDIST is an everyday, MLBB shade that lets me wear even the boldest eyeshadow colors and not look too eighties. I love the fluffmatte series because of how light it is. I’ve always loved matte lipsticks and have tried and collected a variety. One thing I always noticed is how thick and sticky the lipsticks usually are, especially if they’re liquid. The sticks, however, always feel thick and usually, they get removed pretty fast. Fluffmatte, however, is incredibly lightweight and incredibly easy to wear. I also love the fact that it can act multi-purpose. I sometimes use it on my eyelids and I use the girl crush shade for my cheeks.

   Sunnies Face Glowboss in Hey Girl-  I love this highligher so much you have no idea. I am not one to put on much make-up and I honestly get so intimidated by contour and highlight but 2018 was a year of self-discovery and with it came my discovery of how much I like highlight. It makes me look so healthy and glowy. The glitters are kind of an off but it still depends on how much you put on.

9. Miniso’s cotton pads- In order to put on and take out make-up, I need pads to clean up my face. Miniso’s pads are nice because they have variety in it. One row comes with little bumps (?) that (according to the diagram) aid in removing nailpolish while the other has he regular thin, white ones. I like it because for Php 119, you get over 200 pads or more and it really lasts even if I use them thrice a day. 
10. St. Ives’ Oatmeal Gentle Smoothing Scrub & Mask– I was in the sixth grade when I first tried a product from St. Ives and I already knew it was a brand I was going to trust. It was their apricot scrub and almost immediately after trying it, I felt my skin feeling absolutely refreshed and clean. Their new Oatmeal Gentle Smoothing Scrub and Mask is no different. I came across this product during SM Department Store’s Great three-day sale and I’m totally glad I bought it. Because it exfoliates, I only use it twice a week and it makes my skin feel super clean.
