When it comes to skincare, I’m pretty picky and honestly brand-conscious. I’d rather spend money on known brands than risk my skin over something cheap. However, being invited to Beautéderm launch made me question my own routine.
Beautéderm is a cosmetics and skincare line created by businesswoman Rhea Tan in 2009 in Angeles, Pampanga. The brand boasts of natural ingredients fit for Filipino skin— a breath of fresh air from the common western skincare brands Filipinos often see advertised.
Although it was born in Luzon, Beautéderm was brought to Mindanao by Kharnelia Lariosa-Edquila in 2012. While giving out her speech, she mentioned women empowerment numerous times. She expressed her mission in empowering mothers and women nationwide. She emphasized the significance of taking care of oneself while also enhancing inner beauty.
Beautéderm launched ambassadors from different fields. Carly Jane L. Chua, Mary Joy De Castro, Korina Dayan B. Sawan, Claudine Alyssandra Verga, & Johanne Bernice Wong from Pageantry.
Professionals Dr. Chad Fabular, Dr. Camille Chantal D. Gallardo, Leo Revita, Michelle Robin & Datu Nikko Sinsuat Abdul were also introduced as ambassadors.
Empowered women Anne Feo, Sholai S. Lim and Vice Governor Mei Ling M. Quezon were also introduced as Beautéderm Ambassadors for Mindanao.
The launch talked about the importance of self-care while also advocating women empowerment. The interesting thing about Beautéderm is its advocacy. Most beauty brands simply promote their products; Ms. Nellie promotes her advocacy through her products. For more details about Beautéderm Mindanao, you can check out their page here.
Beautéderm also gave us a set of products to try. So check out my next few blog posts for my Skincare Routine & my Beautéderm try!
