Take-out has never been more easy with foodpanda launching in Davao City. The internationally renowned take-out service has finally reached the Mindanaoan’s doorsteps, beginning with Davao.

Starting May 2018, foodpanda will cater to your everyday craving. So far, it has consigned with over 40 restaurants all over the city. Some examples are: Milky Cakes  & Sweets, Cucina Ilocana, Burger Chef, Red Corner, Munchtown & Hukad.

A great thing about foodpanda is how convenient ordering is!  All you have to do is:

  1. Download the app or go to the website.
  2. Register through Facebook or email
  3. Input your address or your delivery address
  4. Choose which restaurant you want. foodpanda will automatically include restaurants within a 3km radius from your address.
  5. Review your order in the basket & when you’re done click “Proceed to Checkout”.
  6. On the Checkout page, enter your discount voucher code if you have one (tip: use code PANDAVAO the first time you order for free delivery on the app!)
  7. Choose your method of payment: Cash on Delivery or Online payment (Credit card or Paypal)
  8. After placing the order, you can live track your order from confirmation until the time it arrives at your doorstep!  (It’s kind of like the GRAB app where you can see where the driver is at a specific time. Pretty cool, eh?)

Without a code, the delivery fee is Php 59. Definitely not too much for hot food delivered at your doorstep, right? What I like about foodpanda is how convenient it is. It allows customers to have the usual restaurant cravings right at home & it’s all transparent. The customers know how the food is prepared, where the driver is, and when it would arrive.

When it launches in May, foodpanda will be available when the restaurants are available. That being said, if your restaurant is closed at 8 AM, their delivery service will also be unavailable. However, you can pre-order & have it delivered at a specific time of choice.

While we were there, we had fun taking photos at Click Avenue Photobooth‘s stall outside. Here are some of our shots:
