Photo Dump: A Newbie’s Attempt at Iphoneography

If you’ve known me in the past 3 years, you probably know of my struggle as a student journalist. There was a time when I juggled being a third-year Radiologic Technology student, editor-in-chief, photojournalist, feature editor, and lay-out editor of the school paper. It wasn’t easy but that part of my life definitely taught me a thing or two about time management ( which is really for another post on another day, tbh).

Anyway, before I stray to another topic again, let me talk about my struggle (more like attempts) as a photojournalist/ photographer. I love looking at photographs. I love how people capture life in a single piece of film or medium. It may have something to do with how sentimental I am, I guess. I’ve always looked up to people who could take a variety of photos; from glorious sunsets to candid street photos. This is why I’ve wanted to try it. I wanted to develop this non-existent (ha,ha) talent and maybe get a few good photos off of it.

Unfortunately, I lost a chunk of the photos I’ve taken because my Iphone 4s got broken. I recovered some of it through Instagram, though. I currently use my Iphone 6s today and I’ve been toying around my Instax Mini8, which was a struggle to manage, by the way.

I just wanted to share some of my incredibly low res, semi-decent takes:

As you can see, I’m definitely no expert but I am trying and I guess that’s what’s important.(?) I’m probably going to try to finish a photography challenge soon and post it here. That ends today’s blog… if you have any tips, send me a message!!!
