Calligraphy Haul

Calligraphy Haul

I love looking at calligraphy and typography. I find it soothing and the same time it makes me want to create something like it and this is why I purchased a lot of calligraphy sets over the holidays. I’ve somehow managed to collect a lot of pens I’ve yet to try. I just wanted to share how much I actually horded. So here they are:

  1. Pentel Aquash Brush Pens, $24.00

I had Chutie order these for me on Amazon before she came home and just paid her here to save shipping. These pens are amazing!!! I love how they’re refillable so just have to put water or ink in their cartridges and simply, paint. They don’t dry easily and they’re very to use since it works just like a pen.

2.Speedball Artist Vintage Set

Chutie gave me this set after she found it while cleaning their house here. (I love her so much hihi). I haven’t around to trying them because I still have to find the perfect ink… but I’m pretty sure these guys are amazing as well, being that they are well-known and that it comes with two Calligraphy textbooks.

3. Pilot Parallel Pen, Php 350.00

The Pilot Parallel Pen was a gift from a co-worker, Venci. (that’s why the texts read “Thanks, Venci.”)

The parallel pen is also amazing, and it comes with two ink cartridges you can attach to the pen. It’s a little hard to get used to but awesome, all the same. I think it goes well with Gothic Characters, rather than the mainstream cursive types.

So that’s my haul. It’s all so amazing and I just want to practice a lot more if I get the time. If you have any tips on Calligraphy, please send me some! I need them. I’m also looking for workshops to join so please if you know anything about calligraphy, message me or something.

That’s all for now, see you!
